FORKS DRUM CLOSET
I am new to world of blogging but this is one place that I could blog, blog, blog, and blog some more on...it is Forks Drum Closet in Nashville Tennessee! If you are serious about your playing and getting the very best gear for your dollar, then you need to visit Forks. These guys and gals are truly professionals and they know what they are talking about. In a day where we see the gigantic music stores, Internet retail stores, etc... Forks is still standing and going strong. I am a little "ole school" when it comes to something that I like to do and really have a passion for. With saying that, I like to put a face with a name or voice when shopping for Drum gear, and I like to be able to see what I am about to invest my money in. You can definitely do this at Forks. They will let you reasonably demo or play the equipment that you are looking at or going to purchase, and every one of the employee’s that work there are knowledgeable working drummers/Percussionists or have been. I find this especially useful with Cymbals, because they are so unique in sound. In my opinion, each Cymbal of any brand has its own unique sound. I occasionally take trips up to Fork’s and I have taken a lot of my students with me over the years and everyone that I have taken loves it! Please check out their website under the Quick Links section, and if any of you that take lessons with me have not been, maybe we can plan a trip and go soon. A BIG thanks to Gary, Melissa, Paul, and everyone else up there for all the years of giving me great deals and making professional recommendations, as well as taking time to really help kids and adults that I have sent up there. Thank you very much for that. Customer service and humility are hard to find in todays world...but you guys have always displayed those qualities as well as your employees. -Lee-
