Lessons

I charge 60 dollars a month for four 30 minute lessons within a monthly period. That is one 30 minute lesson per week in a normal 4 week month for the agreed scheduled day and time.

*** Of course there are some months that there will be a 5th week involved on the day of the students lesson within that particular month. I give three options on those months that are agreed upon at the beginning of each month before payment is made.

1. The student has the option of taking a 5th lesson if there are 5 weeks on their scheduled day for and extra 10 dollars a month, which would equate to 70 dollars for that 5 week month.

2. The fifth week can be skipped altogether and that day can be agreed upon before the start of the month.

3. If I have had to cancel a lesson for any reason I give the student the option to makeup the lesson if the cancellation comes within a month with 5 weeks.

Cancellation Policy:

Payments for lessons are collected no later than the first week of each new month regardless of makeups and/or credits. If I cancel a lesson with a student after payment has been made, I will give the student the option of either a makeup lesson, extra time on their next lesson if it does not conflict with another one, or I can credit the lesson towards the next months fee if the student is planning on continuing. If, for some reason the student does not want to continue then I will issue a monetary refund for the cancelled lesson.

There are no refunds for lessons that students cancel except for a couple of serious exceptions relating to death or illness with a close family member, or if the student is sick with an illness that is going to keep him out more than two weeks.

These policies have been changed and revamped for the last 13 years but I feel like this is the most fair way to do it for myself and the student.

I will consider doing bi-weekly lessons with out of town students as long as it works out with my schedule and students presently taking lessons.

These rates are subject to change but I will give a two month notice for any rate changes.

Rewards: Any student that personally recommends another student to me will receive 1 free lesson as well as a pair of drum sticks.
